BAM members (Level 3 and above) are invited to an opening weekend screening of Dry Ground Burning, an electrifying portrayal of an all-female gang in a Brasilia favela. Blending documentary with narrative fiction and genre elements, filmmakers Pimenta and Queirós offer a unique vision of the country’s possible future.
Writer-director Joana Pimenta will join us for a post-screening conversation.
