Sebastian Stan (Captain America) plays aspiring actor Edward, a man with severe facial disfigurement who undergoes a radical medical procedure to transform his appearance. Edward soon develops complicated feelings about his new face when he loses a role he believes he was born to play to Oswald (Adam Pearson), another aspiring actor living with the same condition.
