- BAM Film 2024
Sebastian Stan (Captain America) plays aspiring actor Edward, a man with severe facial disfigurement who undergoes a radical medical procedure to transform his appearance. Edward soon develops complicated feelings about his new face when he loses a role he believes he was born to play to Oswald (Adam Pearson), another aspiring actor living with the same condition. This highly anticipated drama from writer-director Aaron Schimberg (Chained for Life, Go Down Death) was nominated for the top prize at Berlin International Film Festival, and earned Sebastian Stan the Silver Bear for Best Leading Performance.
See it first at a sneak-preview screening on September 18 at 6:45pm, followed by a Q&A with director Aaron Schimberg!
