Each year, BAM presents three star-studded Gala evenings highlighting the dynamic and eclectic programming on its stages. BAM Galas typically feature cocktails, a special benefit performance, and pre- or post-show dinner. Gala tickets and tables (for ten guests) are available for purchase, as well as reception and performance-only tickets. Gala tickets may also be obtained by joining BAM at the Producers Council, Chairman's Circle, or Next Society membership levels. Gala gifts are tax-deductible (excluding goods and services provided) and all proceeds benefit BAM.
NEXT WAVE GALA
The Next Wave Gala celebrates programming and artists of the Next Wave Festival, the defining showcase of contemporary performing arts. Traditionally, the Next Wave Gala reflects the modern aesthetic of the Festival and is a must for Next Wave fans.
The 2009 Next Wave Gala celebrates the cutting edge programming and artists of the festival and features a performance of Juliette Binoche and Akram Khan's acclaimed work In-I.

INTERNATIONAL THEATER BENEFIT
BAM offers a New York home to the directors and performers who define excellence in international theater today. The International Theater Benefit pays tribute to these artists in an evening featuring cocktails, performance, fine dining, and celebration. Recent benefits have included The Bridge Project Benefit and Macbeth: The Benefit with Patrick Stewart.
This year BAM will feature the Sydney Theatre Company's highly anticipated production of A Streetcar Named Desire as the centerpiece of the Belle Rêve gala event. A festive dinner on the BAM Howard Gilman Opera House stage and a post-performance Dessert Reception will bookend the evening, creating an inspired setting in which to celebrate the best in international theater.
