Take your love for the arts to the next level! Gear up for life after high school in this paid college, career, and life-readiness program. Get support with post-high school plans, learn critical wellness practices to manage life’s transitions, and go behind-the-scenes at BAM to discover what it takes to create a fulfilling career in the arts—all while building community.
SCHEDULE
This program runs in three sessions: Summer 2024 (one week in Aug), Fall 2024 (Oct—Dec), and Spring 2025 (Feb—Jun).
Fall 2024 and Spring 2025 programs happen 1—2 days per week after school from 4—6pm.
Application Deadline: Monday, June 3, 2024
QUALIFICATIONS
● Must be a rising senior attending a high school in one of the five New York boroughs (Brooklyn, Manhattan, Staten Island, Queens, or the Bronx)
● Interest in the arts, such as visual art, performance, media, design, literary arts, or arts professions
● Willingness to collaborate and learn with others
● An overall GPA of 2.0 or higher
● An unofficial high school transcript
