Reunited after being separated by the Congo-Kinshasa war, Aziza and her husband are rebuilding family life with their four children. But Aziza, a journalist, is haunted by horrors other women suffered during the war. Compelled to discover what has happened to a little girl she used to care for, she returns to Eastern Congo to find that the legacy of violence continues. Filmmaker Osvalde Lewat-Hallade illuminates the continuing cost of violent conflict in her docudrama.
