Soundwalk Collective with Patti Smith explore our relation to this world, the environment, the soul of our existence, and the creative process of the artist in this rapturous live collaboration.
Of the very few concert accordionists working today, Iwo Jedynecki is an undisputed button accordion master. The virtuoso joins us from Poland for this year’s Long Play festival, bringing his inventive accordion arrangements of the Philip Glass Piano Etudes to The Adam Space (BAMcafé).
Get the most out of Long Play with a 3-day or 1-day pass, and peruse the full festival schedule to plan your entire weekend!
LONG PLAY is particularly grateful for the generous lead support from the Howard Gilman Foundation, Kettering Family Foundation, ASCAP, Qobuz, and Atlantic Records. This program is also supported, in part, by public funds from the New York City Department of Cultural Affairs in partnership with the City Council, and the New York State Council of the Arts.
